Being dog lovers and having worked with dogs for many years, we know what dogs get excited about and what their parents look for in accessories. Our Story
The background of the brand FRANK&ARLO® goes back a few years when I owned and ran Dogs HQ – A dog day-care centre in Melbourne. It was ‘home’ to up to 60 gorgeous dogs on any given day. Of course, every dog is special, but out of all the dogs I cared for over the years, I fondly remember two gorgeous dogs that would arrive at Dogs HQ every Wednesday – A Border Collie named FRANK and a Golden Retriever named ARLO.
FRANK & ARLO would find each other in the play area and excitedly play all day – just the two of them. They were inseparable and we were completely entranced by them. We found ourselves constantly saying “look at Frank and Arlo”. And that’s how our brand name came about.
Being a huge dog lover, qualified dog trainer, groomer and having continuous interaction with dogs and their owners, I could see that something needed to change within the dog products space. The lack of lasting quality products on the market prompted me to launch my own brand, with a range of high-quality, practical and stylish dog products. Of course, under our FRANK&ARLO® brand name.
